Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well! Once again it has been a while since I've posted anything. This has all changed, so go look at my gallery! Do it now!
As soon as I get back to my apartment, I will post the rest of my portfolio from this year :3. I have some really neat things.

So anyway, life has been good! School has let out for the summer and I am all done with the coloring book project I did for Faber-Castell. It took a while, but I'm quite happy with the results. Both the "Fairy" and "Ballet" books are finished and sent. Although, I'm not as pleased with the latter. I wish I could go back and fix a few things, but I think they will like it. At least I hope they do;;.

Because of the stress of the last semester and the coloring book job, I think I'm completely drained from all creativity >_<;;. I have actually been quite sad about it lately. Before I went to art school, I used to be able to create so freely and ideas for stories and illustrations popped into my head faster than I could write them down. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love art school and have learned so much from it, but I think the amount of work has drained me a bit. I don't feel the creative spark that I had before and it makes me sad, because the stories and characters I create are part of who I am. My recent worries and stresses could also be affecting this as well. >_<

I know it will come back, eventually, so I guess I shouldn't worry too much. I think I won't try to force it too much either. Actually, I am doing something completely different this summer!
I got a part in a production of the musical "She Loves Me" at a local community theater, so that has been fun and has kept me busy! I play one of the customers, which is more of an ensemble part, but since this is a chamber musical, it has smaller cast. This means every character has more of a personality and purpose than those of larger musicals. I'm quite excited because I get to be snobby! I'm still kind of nervous about forgetting my lines or messing up songs though....it's been a while since I've done this!

Anyway, but I do hope to work on some artwork for myself. I know I say that a lot, but I really want to create pretty happy things again. It's been a while!
